Srinagar, June 21 (KNO): Despite the second wave of Covid-19 has shown a significant dip in positivity as well as in deaths, there are six districts in Kashmir division which have reported over 3000 cases in the last one month.
As per the data available with the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara and Anantnag districts have reported over three thousand cases in the last one month.
Data also reveals that Kulgam has reported over 2000 cases in the last month, Bandipora and Ganderbal have reported below 2000 cases while Shopian has reported cases below 1000.
As per data, Srinagar has reported 8,010 positive cases, Baramulla 3,635 cases, Budgam 4,295 cases, Pulwama 3,083 cases, Kupwara 3,340 and Anantnag 3,001 cases in last one month
Data also reveals that Bandipora has reported 1,502 cases, Ganderbal 1,918 and Kulgam reported 2,299 cases in the last month.
Officials said that Budgam, Kupwara and Pulwama districts have been reporting more cases since last few weeks
Moreover, Shopian is the only district that has reported cases below 1000 in the last one month.
Shopian has reported just 680 cases in the last month.
Pertinently, the government in order has announced that there will be no weekend lockdown in Shopian, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts, however, weekend lockdown will continue in the rest of the seven districts of the valley. (KNO)
